Dr. Pennie Moreland
Hello! So glad you’re visiting our website. The first thing to know about me is it’s my desire to treat you the way I’d want to be treated – with kindness, respect and compassion. The second thing? I’m passionate about forming deep relationships with my patients and providing quality care. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and hope to see you soon!
Dr. Pennie Moreland, a Texan through and through, grew up in Pearland and is the first in her family to enter the health care profession. Moreland graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology before being accepted into dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.
In 2005, Moreland graduated cum laude, with high honors in research and teaching. Following graduation from dental school, Moreland completed a general practice residency program at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Fla.
Upon returning to her beloved home state of Texas, Dr. Moreland went into private practice in Eastland for two years and McAllen for four years before moving and putting down roots in McKinney. She is committed to her McKinney community and to making it a better place.
Dr. Moreland’s desire is to treat every patient the same way she wants to be treated – with love, respect and compassion. She is as passionate about forming real relationships with patients as she is about quality care, and places professional growth through continuing education as a high priority so you and your family can be confident in your treatment plans and her skills as a dentist.
Dr. Moreland is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and of the American Dental Association. She loves living in McKinney with her husband Colby and their children Cade and Claire. She finds joy in life with her family and friends, running, crossfitting (ask her about it) and reading novels
